Help to translate "stova"

Precis! Ordet stova är synonymt med stuga och kan beskrivas som ”(ålderdomligt, dialektalt) stuga” när man kollar på synonymer.

When you translate lyrics, you don´t do a word for word translation (that would be very weird). The correct word is cottage, not living room with windows. But I think that burrow, or lair like somebody suggested, is the most fitting for the song. I have found stova in norsk ordbok (runeberg.org/nordialect/0573.html). It means a living room with windows. I think that "burrow" is incorrect translation.
