Den kallar märsta.nu för Fox News Märsta för att märsta.nu inte rapporterat om att pensionärsbidrag ska ha stoppats. Sajten är enligt uppgift till märsta.nu en del av en inofficiell kampanj som Socialdemokraterna i Sigtuna redan bestämt hösten 2016. Enligt två av varandra oberoende uppgiftslämnare skulle socialdemokratiska medlemmar ha föreslagit att de ska sprida socialdemokratiska åsikter på sociala medier och även agera för att sprida socialdemokratisk politik i olika grupper på sociala medier.
