How long have you been queing? The Commune is obligated to offer a slot within 4 months after you entered the que. But it hasen´t have to be a förskola on your chosen-list, it can be anywhere in the commune. Like MammaJohanna says, if you really need a slot you will get one.

It is often harder to find a slot in the winter, but in august all six year olds move up to förskoleklass and more slots become aviliable.
