Hej! någon som vet om detta stämmer, alltså hur man genmodifierar en plants etc. I detta fall en majs.

-DNA is taken from a Bacillus subtilis bacteria.

- Restriction enzyme is used to cut out the gene that is durable for drought.

- A plasmid is cut out from the corn.

-The same restriction enzyme is used to cut out a section of DNA from the plasmid. This produce sticky ends.

- The gene that is durable for drought is insert in the plasmid .

-A enzyme called ligase is used to join the sticky ends of the DNA together.

- The plasmid is ready to insert into the corn, that will have the gene so it´s durable for drought.
