child suport

hey. sense im new in sweden i dont know how things goes here. Does the coverment or commun bay one time childsuport after you have got a child? Or only money what you will get is this föräldrapengar? in my country every kommun bay 5000.- for newborn babys after they birth. They bay it once and after that we start to get föräldrapengar if we have worked. So i just wondering what kind a system is here?
