Waiting for frozen embryo transfer after 1st IVF failed.

1st IVF Cycle - July 2023.

13 eggs retreived. 7 Fertilized. None servived day 5.

Day 3 Embryo transferred but started bleeding from day 10 after embryo transfer. Resluted in Negative pregnancy.

Reason given by IVF clinic: Male fertility issue. Sperm DNA fragmentation.

Put my spouse on medication for DNA fragmentation for 90 days.

2nd IVF Cycle ? Jan 2024.

7 eggs retrieved. 4 fertilized by ICSI. 2 survived in Freezer after Day 5.

I am yet to start the frozen embryo transfer as the Doc suggested to not do it same month.

I am scared on when should I do my next transfer. Should I wait for few months before the transfer as I have only two in freezer or should I continue after one full cycle(I am yet to bleed after egg retriever in Jan 2024).

Anyone went through same path? When did you guys did you frozen embryo transfer in which cycle after egg retrieval?

Looking for some success stories and suggestions.

Hi Joy77, I?ve also gone to the same clinic. Do you know what they based the male fertility issue on? Did you take the DNA fragmentation test and did it improve for second IVF? They were not able to give us a reason after three failed IVF rounds but suggested we do the DNA fragmentation test for 8000 SEK.
